Graphic Presence
The paper forms terminate into strong graphic shapes that buck the standards of existing refill packaging in the category. Designed to only use the necessary material this packaging allowed quip to create a strong presence in their allotted space on shelf.
Hidden Construction
Using stickers in the assembly we were able to create a fully seamless design hiding all the necessary molded features to hold the product.
Double duty
The same sticker that is used for front of pack graphics and cover up molded details is also used to seal the package. This approach further reduced complexity while creating a thoughtful touchpoint to open.
Considered details
The molded ring on the lid acts as a seal to the package while creating a retaining structure for the instructions and a small notch was added to allow easy access. The same approach is used on the refill side, creating a home for up to four brush pods allowing the same tooling structure to be used across multiple pack outs.
Flexible pack-out
Both refill structures were designed to flex to their needed refill count allowing larger order quantities of the molded tray driving efficiency and reducing part cost.
V-groove hinge
Using a double V groove we were able to make the hinge seamless to the body of the packaging, strengthening the graphic gesture and improving durability.
